Excerpt from a letter
Someone once told me that you have to allow people to love you the best way they know how and that may not always be the exact way you would do things but it’s a matter of accepting that someone is giving you the best they have. I appreciate this advice and have carried it with me. I’m not okay with settling or being mistreated but I do try to look at where a person is coming from and trying to see it in the best light instead of assuming the worst. And I also try to look at what things I have done that may have contributed to the situation.
